ABOUT JAMES V. RYAN

A graduate from Syracuse University in 1978 with a degree in Civil Engineering, James V. Ryan worked as a project engineer with O'Brien & Gere Engineers and Maniktala Associates in charge of designs for companies like IBM and New York State Department of Transportation.  In 1984, he started James V. Ryan, P.E. which worked on large commercial and residential projects. He has a wide range of technical experience in structural design included design of concrete, wood and steel structures. In 2001 he moved to San Antonio and shortly thereafter began to work on his private practice again. He has a technical experience on evaluations of residential foundations and residential wood framed structures. His commercial work consists of a range from concrete, steel and wood.
